Moose Drool Kielbasa Casserole

I’m are back! And this time, we had Moose Drool Brown Ale from Big Sky Brewing and links of organic beef kielbasa. Add some swiss and muenster cheese with spaetzle egg noodles. Perfect for a cold winter night, this casserole will definitely light the internal fire.

Starting with great kielbasa and Moose Drool from Big Sky Brewing

Ingredients

  • 3 links beef kielbasa, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 6 oz. Moose Drool from Big Sky Brewing
  • 1 package spaetzle egg noodles
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 large onion,diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 1/4 cups sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup Muenster cheese
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F
  2. Cook and drain egg noodles
  3. Brown kielbasa in a heavy saute pan
  4. Remove browned kielbasa
  5. Melt butter in dirty pan over medium heat
  6. Cook onion 4 to 5 minutes in butter, stirring occasionally, until tender
  7. Add mushrooms
  8. Cook 4 minutes
  9. Stir in Moose Drool and cook 5 minute
  10. Remove from heat
  11. Combine kielbasa, cooked noodles, sour cream, the cheeses, salt, and pepper into baking dish
  12. Bake 20 minutes or until bubbly
  13. Top with several slices of Muenster cheese
  14. Bake 7 minutes or until cheese is melted
  15. Cool for several minutes, and serve that bad boy up!
