De la Calle is latest food truck (well, wagon) to Missoula. Andres Buitron and Marquéz Ruiz are the proprietors and awesome cooks, and, man, can they cook a mean taco. De la Calle’s soft opening took place next to Kettlehouse Brewing Southside, and pairing the tacos with a pint of Hemptober Spliff made for a perfect afternoon meal. We had each of their 4 tacos – carne asada, carnitas, lengua, and chorizo. Watching the smoke rise as the carne asada sizzled to perfection made the mouth water. Everything single item on the truck is prepared fresh, and this extra care comes through in the vibrant flavors.
